Bio-plastics are environment – friendly and biodegradable hence provide an effective way to replace the conventional plastics. In this experiment five different crops were taken then extracted starch from each crop. Starch is used as a source for producing bio-plastics. Bio-plastic generated starches. Sorghum showed maximum production of (369gm). 15% glycerol plasticiser bio-plastics was produced starch. Glycerol increases its flexibility. Sodium meta-bisulphate antimicrobial activity. Maize plastic i.e. 28.26 gm. Once made, quality parameters studied. Like tensile strength, elongation test degradation test. While calculating strength stretchiness toughness that particular bio-plastic sample important maize 5.80 Mpa found be among all.
